Pipetting Zoo

If a petting zoo is where you pet animals a pipetting zoo is where you get the chance to pipette animals!

The Pipetting Zoo features a barn containing glowing phytoplankton that activates at the push of a button, tokens for feed dispensers that dispense microtubes of E coli that participants could feed to nematode worms, and a plethora of other microorganisms and ways to interact with them.

The Pipetting Zoo was created for and operated at the 2019 Cambridge Science Festival.
